First New Building Rises on Hoag’s Sun Family Campus

As the service hub of Hoag’s expanded Sun Family Campus, the Logistics Building is crucial to efficient operations and was the first of six new buildings being constructed to take shape. Housing pharmacy and lab services and ensuring pavilions across the campus are adequately stocked with equipment and supplies, the Logistics Building will serve as a connector, bringing together the work of every physician, nurse, and hospital worker for the seamless delivery of care.

The Women’s Health Pavilion, Cancer & Digestive Health Pavilion, and Surgical Pavilion are also coming to life across the campus—all of which will provide increased access to Hoag’s renowned specialty-trained physicians. Supported by the Boldly Hoag campaign, these state-of-the-art facilities will be joined by a new open entryway, wellness gardens, and outdoor decks to promote the healing elements of nature and give patients and visitors opportunities for reflection and respite while navigating the complexities of health care.

At its heart, the Boldly Hoag campaign is focused on redefining wellness for Orange County, underpinned by three, bold initiatives: elevating the patient experience, recruiting and retaining top talent, and designing and building the future of health. By expanding Hoag’s capacity to care for the community, new buildings will enable providers to meet the needs of patients today and for years to come.
